Our Farm to Table Experience
We headed out to the Tangletown Farm in Plato, Minnesota for Family and Friends Day! We got to tour the farm, meet the animals and see the food growing out of the nutrient rich soil. It is pretty impressive to see a fully sustainable farm in action!
While at the farm, we got to taste some delicious shredded pork with rhubarb barbecue sauce on a freshly baked roll. It was AH-MAZING!
The Wise Acre
All of the food that they produce on the farm is used in their farm and family owned restaurant, here in Minneapolis, called The Wise Acre Eatery.
It is right next to the Tangletown Garden, inside of a refurbished garage and the aesthetic is super cool! We stopped by and enjoyed a Farmer’s Cheese Plate with rhubarb chutney and Tangletown honey. I also had a delicious vanilla latte at their full coffee and wine bar.
I also HIGHLY recommend the hand-churned custards and if they have the Maple Bacon one, GET IT!
Next time you are in Minneapolis, make sure you stop by the Wise Acre Eatery for a true farm to table experience in Minnesota.
